• Junior Achievement - Spring, 2013
Since 2008 Legacy has been supporting Junior Achievement of South Central Pennsylvania, a volunteer based program that provides relevant learning programs to students in grades K-12. The program focuses on work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, as well as the importance of staying in school. • United Way - January, 2013
Legacy and its employees recently continued their strong and active support of the United Way of York County. With Legacy matching its employees’ donations dollar-for-dollar, more than 55% of Legacy’s employees participated in the United Way Campaign this year to raise the funds needed to support the 36 partner agencies and other organizations that help people in need and make our community stronger, safer and healthier. • Toys-for-Tots Campaign - December, 2012
Legacy employees donated numerous new toys as part of the Marine Corps Reserves’ famous Toys-for-Tots Campaign. This wonderful annual campaign helps less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas and, just as importantly, sends a message of hope to the children and their families. In 2012 Legacy employees and their families participated in the annual Pennsylvania Jaycees Hanover Halloween Parade. Over 5,000 Legacy hats were distributed to children and adult spectators..

• Big Brothers Big Sisters of America - October, 2012
Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with mentors. The relationships that develops provides an increased sense of belonging, enhanced communication skills, and improved performance at home, school, and in the community. • Hanover Area YMCA - October, 2012
Legacy continues to show their support of the Hanover Area YMCA by presenting them with a check through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. EITC donations to the Hanover Y are used specifically to provide scholarships for children ages 3-5 to participate in the Y’s Early Learning Center preschool. Additionally, Legacy renewed their Chairman’s Roundtable Banner for the 2013 “Kids Come First Campaign”. For more information on

• Operation Shoebox - September, 2012
Operation Shoebox provides our men and women deployed outside of the USA with care packages to help raise their morale and let them know they are cared about. Last year, Hanover volunteers working in partnership with Operation Shoebox raised over 1,800 care packages and over $10,000 in financial donations to assist with shipping costs. The National Association of College Stores (NACS) Foundation supports research and educational initiatives within the collegiate retailing industry. This non-profit organization is primarily funded through donations, sponsorships and grants from companies and individuals in this industry. • Hanover Chapter of the American Red Cross - August, 2012
The mission of the American Red Cross is to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. The Greater Hanover Chapter carries out that mission by providing emergency assistance to those who have been affected by disasters, offering training and classes for those who wish to be better prepared in the face of emergencies, collecting life-saving blood at the blood donor center and transmitting emergency messages to our service men and women fighting for our freedom. Legacy’s donation will be used to help support the 10th Annual Red Cross Golf Tournament held August 23 in Hanover. For more information on
